101.5 The Hawk (CIGO FM) is located in Port Hawkesbury, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Established in October 1975, CIGO is a full-service adult contemporary station with a focus to servicing the community through public service, news, sports and weather information.
CIGO began as 1410 AM and converted to 101.5 FM on April 3, 2000. We can be heard from New Glasgow to Sydney Forks, Nova Scotia, but their main focus is the Quad Counties (Inverness, Richmond, Antigonish and Guysborough Counties) 24 hours a day.
The Hawk has received numerous recognition awards for our positive contribution to the community. In 2008 we awarded the ECMA for Small Market Radio Station of the Year. As the only daily source for local news, weather, sports and information, The Hawk has become an integral part of the Quad Counties.
