Mulgrave Machine Works Ltd. Takes a Proactive Approach
Mulgrave Machine Works Limited (MMW) is a custom metal fabrication company specializing in the manufacture of unfired pressure vessels, piping systems and fabricated metal products.
Located in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia this full-service metal fabrication shop currently employs 35 people including welders, fitters, riggers, millwrights, machinists, mechanics and labourers and is about to celebrate its 41 year in business.
“Our current workload is primarily fabricated metal products for the local industrial base here in the Strait area,” said Sean Reid, General Manager. “As the year progresses we are optimistic that the Deep Panuke project will provide great opportunity for our company, as well our company will be represented at various international trade events to increase our export activity.”
MMW has worked on a variety of projects ranging from small to large and for a variety of clients such as the Canadian Coast Guard, Chevron Canada Ltd., Marine Atlantic Ltd., and the Strait of Canso Superport Corporation. Each project follows a rigorous set of standards and controls to ensure a quality end result and a well satisfied customer.
