The Economic Council of Cheticamp (CEC) represents, facilitates, increases, consults and promotes trade and economic development of the Acadian region of Cheticamp with the active participation of entrepreneurs and businesses in the region in concert with other agencies of the region.

The mission of the Economic Council of Cheticamp is to improve the quality of life of Cheticamp and surrounding areas through support, aid, assistance and development of the business community in the region.
